Can someone help me with my pop up problem?

I have my explorer set to block all pop ups and my AOL McAffee security system is also set to block all pop ups... yet... I get crazy pop ups...

Also, every single time I go to my internet properties... my privacy settings are reset to the lowest settings (which allows cookies...) and even though I set it back to medium, it goes back once I open the browser and pop ups start bombarding me!

Are there any free spyware, virus protection, and pop up blocker programs out there? Any tips or advice?

Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, and Opera have perfectly good built in pop-up blockers. They must be enabled to work. After they are enabled pop-ups should be rare.

IE7 : Tools %26gt; pop up blocker %26gt; turn on

Firefox: Tools %26gt; options %26gt; content %26gt;Check "block pop up windows

Opera: Tools %26gt; Quick Preferences %26gt; Block unwanted pop-ups

If you get more than 3 pop ups per day with the browser pop up blocker enabled, you are infected with malware. If you follow all the following steps it should get rid of your problem and prevent future problems. All programs listed are free.
