Why does newgrounds have so many viruses on it??

is there a surefire way to download or at least watch videos or listen to music on it??? i get viruses sometimes just by being on the site.

i have mcaffee virus protection. shouldn't it protect against those? and one of the viruses i got from newgrounds,com wasn't able to be destroyed or quarintined!! i don't get it. why newgrounds?

first of all you can use other websites that don't contain malicious code. mcaffee shouldn't protect you against everything, it only deals with viruses, and what you got is probably trojans or keyloggers or spyware. it might sound complicated but antiviruses (like mcaffee) only removes viruses, anti spyware programs removes spyware adware keyloggers and similar stuff and firewall is like shield that stops all these things from coming on you computer in the first place. so you need to have antispyware and firewall along to your antivirus if you want to surf malicious websites safely. i can recommend some antispywares: http://www.2-spyware.com/compare.php

however i can't understand why do you want to surf malicious websites? can't you watch videos on youtube and listen to music on other websites?
